RESIDENCE
Design a retreat for an artist where he/she could relax and have a place to work. A connection with nature is important to allow inspiration for the artist. The residence should be something special, where every moment inside is exhilarating. Consider what the artist will do, need, and what kind of space will allow for it.
The house is inspired from a dock on a nearby lake. Like a dock, the house floats above the ground and stopping like an unfinished bridge into infinity. A studio is at the edge of the house so the artist can have a view of the entire lake and it’s surrounding. Inside, the entire space lays under a single roof with only two-meter high partitions dividing the private areas from the rest.
